Physical talent is common. At every level of competitive baseball, you can find athletes with elite arm strength, bat speed, and foot speed. It is Baseball IQ: the ability to read the game before it unfolds, make the right decision under time pressure, and position yourself correctly before the crack of the bat.
Most baseball coaching focuses almost entirely on mechanics — how to swing, how to throw, how to field. But the mental game, the decision-making that determines outcomes in high-leverage situations, is rarely trained with the same rigor. CutoffIQ exists to close that gap. We provide structured, position-specific cognitive training that builds real, measurable baseball intelligence.
Every athlete on our platform earns a verifiable IQ score — a number built from real decisions, not self-assessments. That score grows through deliberate practice, scenario repetition, and progressive difficulty. HOW IT WORKS
POSITION-SPECIFIC TRAINING
Each of 9 positions has its own IQ curriculum. A shortstop trains differently than a right fielder because the cognitive demands are fundamentally different. Every scenario, every decision tree, every quiz is tailored to the position.
PROGRESSIVE LEVELS
T-Ball through D1 College — 10 levels of competition that mirror real competitive complexity. Content scales with the athlete, ensuring they are always challenged at the right developmental stage.
